Jewellery

One pair of stud earrings only and a wrist watch (when your child can tell the time) may be worn. Smart watches are banned. Unfortunately, some pupils have not been using them appropriately so we cannot have them in school.

Please remember to remove your child’s earrings for PE lessons. You can send your child in with tape over their earrings or give permission for the office to cover your child’s earrings with tape. If they cannot remove their earrings or they are not taped then they will not be able to participate in PE lessons.

Hair

Hair should be neat and tidy. Long hair should be tied back. We expect moderate hair styles. No extreme cuts or colours e.g. shaven markings, skinhead. If in any doubt please ask your child’s class teacher.

Make-up

Pupils will not be able to attend school if they are wearing makeup or false eyelashes. We will also send them home if they have a spray tan and acrylic or painted nails. Children will be able to return to school once these are removed.

Shoes

All pupils are expected to wear plain black school shoes. If a child comes into school without appropriate footwear as per our policy, we will ask them to go to the office and change into a pair of black plimsolls for the day. Please contact the office if you need any support when purchasing new shoes.
