Dear Parents/Carers,
We will be holding parents evenings in the school hall for parents of Reception to Year 6 pupils on Monday 20th March 3.30pm – 6.00pm and Tuesday 21st March 3.30pm – 6.30pm.
If you would like to make an appointment with Mrs Drogomirecki, our SENCo, for either evening then please contact the school office and they will arrange an appointment for you to meet with her.
As always, this will be an opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss the progress that your child has made so far this academic year and any current interventions or support that your child is receiving. There will also be an opportunity for you to look at books whilst you are waiting to see the class teacher.
Appointment slots will be for 10 minutes at a time and we will be marking time intervals with our school sound system so that everyone keeps to time. Please be prompt in attending your appointment, arriving 5-10 minutes before your arrival time and please do not go over your appointment time as this causes huge delays and means that other parents may have much longer waiting times. If you feel you need more time to talk to the class teacher, you can book another meeting with them for another time. Any children that you bring with you to your appointment need to stay seated whilst waiting as well as during appointments and are your responsibility at this time.
Please fill in a letter for each child that attends this school and if you have siblings within the school then please indicate this on the reply slip. This means that teachers can coordinate appointment times between each other so that they will not double book or keep parents with siblings in the school to have long waiting times.
Please ensure that you return your slips to each class teacher by the end of the school day on Wednesday 15th March at the very latest and appointments will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
