KS1 Nativity

Three shepherds seeing the star of Bethlehem.

Dear Parents/Carers

Re: Years 1 and 2 Nativity performances to parents

We are pleased to be able to invite you to the Key Stage 1 nativity performances and due to both classes in year 1 and 2 working on this together, we thought we would offer two dates so that we could accommodate more parents as we are sure that one performance would be very well-attended but quite restricted in space.

The first performance is on Thursday 15th December at 9.15am in the school hall and the second performance is on Friday 16th December at 2pm.

Due to the limited space in the hall, we will be limiting this to two adult seats per family and this will be a ticketed event.  We are happy for younger siblings to attend but we may have to accommodate pushchairs or prams by our staff room to ensure that we have as much space as possible in the hall and that fire exits are not blocked.

As I am sure you will appreciate, the children are working really hard on learning their lines and learning Nativity songs so it would be great if you would also kindly practise these with your children at home.  You should have already been contacted by your child’s class teacher in regards to parts and costumes.  Please do let them know as soon as possible if you require any further support with costumes.

Please indicate on the slip below which performance you would like to attend and how many tickets you would like   and return it to the main office by Monday 5th December.  To enable us to be fair to all parents and to ensure that as many parents as possible can attend, you will not be able to book 2 tickets for each performance and so will need to decide which date and time suits you best.  Tickets will then be available to pick up from the office from Friday 9th December.  Please keep these and present them to the office on the performance days. Without tickets, you would not be able to attend the performances.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to sharing the children’s performances with you.

Kind regards,

Mrs L Rimmer
Principal
