Dear Parents/Carers,
It has been great to be able to share and celebrate with you the children’s wonderful work on Lammas Day and also with our Harvest celebrations. We have been overwhelmed with the engagement from you in these events and wanted to say a huge thank you. It has been great to finally have an opportunity to be able to have you back at school events.
I am delighted to be able to invite you all to some coffee mornings with your class teachers as a ‘Meet the Teacher’ event in the week beginning Monday 11th October 2021.
Parent/teacher consultations are planned for after the half term break and will be a good opportunity for you to meet to discuss your child/children in a more in depth basis. The coffee mornings are half an hour sessions which will give you an opportunity for the class teacher to give you an overview of their year group and any particular focuses, such as the phonics screening check in year 1 or the multiplication check in year 4. We will provide drinks and biscuits too. Please remember that this is not an opportunity to discuss your child on an individual basis but if you do have any current concerns, then please do arrange a separate conversation around this with the class teacher.
