Dear parents and carers,
Rather than host a Macmillan Coffee Morning, in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support we would like to contribute by selling cakes to both yourselves and the children on Friday 24th September 2021. We will be selling cakes to the children at breaktime and would then like to invite parents to purchase some cakes at the end of the school day. This is for a great cause and you can find out more information about where the proceeds will go on the Macmillan website.
It would be great if each child in each class could donate a small pack of cakes or homemade cakes that the children can then buy at break time. Cakes will be 50p each and we would ask that children bring in a maximum of £2 to spend. If all donations of cakes could be brought into school by Thursday 23rd September at the latest and of course, if they are homemade, it is fine to bring them into school that morning.
